Minta on Wolverine
Her Take on the Story
“Are you sure,” said Minta, “that it wasn’t me who sat down by your side in class and whispered the whole story to you?”
That hit a very strange spot, for that was something that had not crossed my mind. I spun around and looked at her, sitting, looking smug, on my bed in my upstairs room (our kid chamber). My sister was downstairs with Mom and Dad, so there was just Minta and I.
“You did not,” I said. “Did you?”
“No,” she said. “It was all yours.”
This made me very happy.
“Did you like it?” I asked.
“Haven’t read it yet,” she said.
“I’m sure you will,” I said.
“I’m sure I will,” she said.
